Many of our clients have designs that “kind of work” but actually have a lot of shortcomings. They call us looking for an improved design that functions at an optimal level. We work with our clients to create solutions that work well for their particular environments.
For instance, one of our clients had a sign they were using in a clean room for quality assurance. It simply indicated “Yes” or “No” for whether operators had completed certain tasks. In our effort to improve the design, we needed to ensure that the sign would be easy to use. It was also essential that the sign would stay clean.
There was a bit of trial and error involved in the process of designing a replacement sign for this client’s clean room. We tried one version of the sign that used an adhesive that didn’t stand up to their cleaners, which was obviously a nonstarter. We eventually came up with a silkscreen design that worked well for the client.
At Reytek, we don’t mind going through the process of trying different approaches to meet our customers’ challenges. In fact, our work depends on listening to our customers and working with them to develop the best solutions to their problems. There isn’t a “Eureka!” moment where we instantly come up with the perfect approach.
